What is contemporary bathroom design? The bathroom expresses what we choose to be, it is a necessary excuse to exclude for a while the external world and find a physical equilibrium. An honest comparison with ourselves and the surrounding objects helps to understand the living space value in which we ritually take care of ourselves.
Nowadays we are subject to the temptation of going along with imposed design languages, often result of exalted styles. This fact totally ignores the empathy between humans and objects, prevailing the uncontrolled expression of a socioeconomic status, that sometimes is not close to our everyday life. The primary aim is to put foreground the relationship between human and objects through a sense experience.
We finally can rediscover a physical contact, which is born from emphasising simple shape and smooth surface, without any unnecessary additions. A framework which lets the person express itself: these are our bathroom ideas, this is Atelier12.
