The Rainhas de Portugal [Queen of Portugal] cachepots pay homage to four enchanting queens from Portugal's history (one of them posthumously): Inês de Castro, Rainha Santa Isabel, D. Maria II, and D. Amélia. Fascinating and complex figures portrayed with great sensitivity by Hélia Aluai, inspired by delicate filigree work, a typically Portuguese ornamental technique.
