Tukkals, small handmade lights flown from kites during Makar Sankranti, are referenced in these versatile bamboo and paper lamps created by the Tazia artisans.
The outer skin is banana leaf paper, pieced in a geometric pattern as a counterpoint to the teardrop bamboo inner structure. These lights can be ceiling hung in clusters, rest on a table, or illuminate from the floor.
