On a base of perforated felt, the Canevas collection uses the cross stitch technique to create a variety of patterns with colourful wool threads. The distinctive reinterpretation of this
technique is the brainchild of designer Charlotte Lancelot, who has come up with a lively concept offering an endless supply of compositions. Some of the Canevas designs have a blurred look, like a pattern made up of pixelated flowers. Others are designed to look like worn, aged surfaces. A contemporary take on a classic handcraft technique that shies away from becoming trapped in nostalgia.
