Crafted using the traditional techniques of joinery, Caravela lounge chair is part of a family of chairs, custom-designed to furnish homes and hospitality spaces with style and elegance. Inspired by the traditional Portuguese Caravela boat, this lounge chair is a tribute to some of the greatest and bravest in Portuguese History. Caravela is a small, highly manoeuvrable sailing ship developed in the 15th century by the Portuguese to explore along the West African coast and into the Atlantic Ocean.
