Description
Egoa is a chair collection created by Josep Mora. There are two main chair options: Egoa moving armchair and Egoa task chair.
It is essential to seat in the Egoa chair to experience how wonderfully comfortable it is. The seat and the backrest are ingeniously hinged, inviting users to adopt a dynamic sitting posture, thus allowing a free range of movement. Egoa chair adapts to most body weights and sizes, offering an exceptional comfort.
This design has been in production for more than 20 years now, and leads to become a design classic.
The frame is made of chromed steel and the seat & back are available in a variety of wood finishes; fabric or leather upholstery.
The shape of the chair allows stacking up to six units on the floor.
A version with castors is also available. The wood species come from French sustainable managed forests.

The Egoa chair has a unique movement system. This system is a both a technological and design innovation:
- HINGED: the seat and back are hinged via some aluminium pieces that allow the seat and back to move.
- MOVEMENT: thanks to this articulations the seat and back move according the user’s body.
- PLYWOOD: the seat and back are made of super thin French wood plywood.
