The Thathera artisan’s hand-hammer aluminum/copper into trays of three different sizes in the shape of lotus leaves or ‘Padma.’ Brass legs of different heights allow groupings of these trays to become a table sculpture of the ‘floating world’ with food delicacies featured in each tray. Create a pond on your table, reminiscent of Monet’s ‘Lily Pond’ for an artistic eating experience. Tarnishing may occur, regular polishing with a lead-free cleaning agent is advice for maintaining the gloss. Not meant for cooking on, can be washed in the dishwasher.
