Tanja was drawn to paint the Phoenix Rising theme because of the strength and majesty of these mythical creatures. They are said to be kind and loyal, attributes that for me are the foundation of a happy life and which contribute well towards a successful collector/ artist relationship. There are now six paintings in this series, with four of them sold already, two to the US and two to the UK.
The painting's pattern continues around all edges of the canvas and as this canvas is quite deep, the painting looks wonderful hanging up unframed.
