Description
The only one of its kind unique vintage cotton blankets were made by village women by stacking old saris and left over fabrics on each other, and hand-stitching to make a thin piece of cushion. These were made with a purpose to use them as a bed cover or a blanket.
We found these unique vintage Kantha blankets during our search for authentic traditional Kantha producers. Each blanket is 15-30 years old, and has been fixed for any lose and weak parts. These skilful repairs simply enhance vintage character of this blanket.
Our vintage Kantha blankets are reversible, and no two are ever the same. So, if this is the one for you, don’t let it slip away!
