Herbert George Wells, the so-called “father of science fiction”, was a fascinating author with an incredible futuristic mind. He also was extremely present in social and political matters and had – and still has – an extensive repertoire on equality and human rights, being his book “The Rights of Men” (1940) the most influential one and serving as the base of the Universal Declaration of Humans Rights.
