The LILO collection was inspired by abstracted forms and sculptural silhouettes from West African musical instruments from a minimalist perspective. LILO is an exploration of fluidity, a challenge to maintain a consistent rhythm using a continuous line. This gave way to exploring various ways to twist metal to create engaging furniture pieces that offer various views depending on the angle one sees it from. LILO means twist in Yoruba, her native language.
